FujiFilm Digital Card Reader 7 in 1 DCR-71

New Price: £3.17

Review for FujiFilm Digital Card Reader 7 in 1 DCR-71:
A good quality versatile reader
I bought the Fuji card reader because as an analogue photographer I have always preferred Fuji film, and so trust the brand. I also think it looks better than most of its competitors. The instructions that come with the reader need updating - they don't mention Windows XP - but don't panic! I installed it (from opening the packet to being fully functional) on an XP system in under 5 minutes. So far I've used the reader with Compact Flash and SD cards, and it works perfectly. The 4 ports (one for Compact Flash I/II & MicroDrive, one for XD & SmartMedia cards, one for SD & MultiMedia cards and one for Memory Stick) appear as 4 different drive letters, so if you want to you can transfer data directly between different card formats. Overall, a solid, quality piece of kit which does exactly what I want, and in my opinion is well worth the extra few £ over some of its rivals - 5 stars!

Fuji F650

New Price: £109.99

Review for Fuji F650:
A little bargain!
What an amazing little camera! Perhaps not the"smallest" compact camera out there's enough to play with to make up for it. The 3" screen is really nice, photos are clear and previewing them is even better (my previous camera had a 1" screen!) There are so many settings to tweak so any budding photgraphers can begin experimenting without lugging round an expensive SLR - a read of the manual is a good idea to get to know the camera but then your off'n'laughing. The 5x optical zoom is a useful feature, more than most others out there as too is the super macro setting. Recording a video(+ sound)is easy gives good results although you can't adjust the zoom whilst recording (a shame when given the 5x zoom). Onboard memory is a good start but recommend buying a larger memory card - charger, USB + AVout cables, Strap all in the box but no case; a must if you want to keep the screen scratch free.
Overall a really good pocket friendly camera, enough to keep you experimenting and at a really good price.[...]

Review for Fujifilm 64MB SmartMedia Card:
Good reliable and super portable
Had one of these for years now.

Reliable to the max.

Bigger cards are available and better value for money
The advantage of these cards is - you can mail, exchange or carry these cards to work without shedding major tears if you loose one.
Quicker than writing a CD too.

Review for Fuji 32MB SmartMedia Card 3.3 Volt:
smart size, smart quality!
I bought a fuji fine40i digital camera, but it just only 8 MB smartmedia card. So i choose the higher memory, 32 MB. Smartmedia
card is advanced technology to save image and sound format.
it does not only save pictures, but also it can save mp3. why not to try to take pictures the same as hearing great mp3!

Fuji FinePix S9500 Digital Camera [9MP 10 X Optical Zoom]

New Price: £193.20

Review for Fuji FinePix S9500 Digital Camera [9MP 10 X Optical Zoom]:
A genuinely excellent camera - (actually S9000)
Some long time ago I earned my living as a professional photographer, mainly doing studio work (portraiture, fashion and glamour). Then came a change of career and my photography became a hobby rather than a means of earning a living. Later still came the digital photographic age, and I finally pensioned off my Canon EOS-5 (35mm), Bronica ETR-Si and Mamiya RB67 Pro-S (medium format).

In their place I bought a Fuji Finepix S9000 (which is exactly the same thing as the S9500, but the US model).

So why did I choose this camera as opposed to another? Mainly because it did exactly what I needed it to do.

I needed a camera that gave me the control I was used to in 35mm and medium format. The ability to choose my own apertures and shutters speeds. The ability to choose my own"film speeds" (or, at least, the digital sensitivity equivalent). A camera with a focal length range from decent wide angle to decent telephoto. Most of all, however, I needed a camera I could take into a studio and hook up to studio flash so that I could continue to take the same sort of pictures digitally that I could take on film stock.

The S9000 does all this, and the results are pretty good. Not perfect, but pretty good.

Of course you could get a wider focal length range by having an exchangeable lens Digital SLR - but that choice also comes with the risk of dust on the sensor, which has always been a particular problem with DSLRs. To be blunt, why take that risk when you have a"35mm equivalent" focal length range of 28-300mm?

For a photographer who works in the studio with models 28-300mm is very adequate.

Of course I'd rather like a"digital medium format" camera too. If I could find digital version of the Mamiya RB67 Pro-S I'd be in heaven, particularly if I could afford it.

In the absence of that, however, the S9000 does very well indeed.

So why 4 stars rather than 5? This boils down to auto-focusing performance which is, unfortunately, disappointing - particularly in low light situations.

Other than that - go for it.

Fuji - FinePix S100fs

New Price: £391.95

Review for Fuji - FinePix S100fs:
Fuji Finepix S100fs
Just upgraded to this camera from the S9500 -
A brilliant camera - 11.1MP with a 400mm zoom and a 67mm lens diameter.
You can adjust so many settings - The colour - tone - sharpness of the outlines - and finetune the white balance. You can even customise your own settings for quick accsess.
The dynamic range is good - it really brings contrasting areas into a good exposure.....Also with a fast SD card you can shoot mulitple images quickly that save to the card very fast......Its fully manual and fully automatic - You can even lock pictures on the sd card and then just delete everything else in one go.
Theres a real lack of noise on the camera - even at 400 asa - and 800's pretty good.
I think i'll be able to print at A3 - and for A4 the quality will be brilliant.
The included software also has a Raw file converter - which has been improved so you can change all the settings before converting it to a Tif or JPG.
So looking forwards to bringing this camera on holiday.
The fixed lens lets you photograph from a 1cm macro to 28mm wide angle up to a 400mm zoom - For what you can do with this camera its definately 5 Star
