Very happy

This is a very good card i have mainly used it for video footage on our fuji z33wp at c-parcs down rapids and in pool,and have not had any problems at all so far. nice pics and video footage storing data is quick too. would deff recomend. greatfull for fast free delivery, nice, thanks.

Works a treat

XD seems to be the one type of card not supported by multi-function card readers, so this product seemed ideal for me - inexpensive and effective. Had a bit of trouble getting the card in the right way round, but after that it has worked perfectly.

Fujifilm Finepix S1800

I bought this camera as an upgrade from my loyal Olympus FE-240, When you first hold the camera, you will notice that it is noticeably smaller than an SLR which proves handy and means that it's a lot more portable. The camera is very good at shooting stills, the macro mode is especially good, I wouldn't say it was amazing in low light however. The reason I haven't given this product 5 stars is because the zoom whilst shooting videos is very noisy and somewhat ruins the video, not helped by the low quality 'mic'. Overall I'm happy with the camera and would recommend to A friend-for this amount of money, why would you buy A normal point-and-shoot?

An impressive camera

After owning this camera for only a day, I'm really impressed. Thanks to the auto features, I was taking photos within minutes - something I wasn't expecting after seeing all the buttons. Although I'm still learning the ropes, I've been really pleased with most of the shots I've taken - especially when using the macro & super macro features. The face recognition feature is quite good too - and very accurate when detecting blink shots.

However, there were a few things that disappointed me: it doesn't come with a case(to be expected I guess) and the strap isn't very impressive. This being said, my biggest disappointment was the software that's supplied on the CD. It is terrible! During installation, my firewall identified it as some sort of browser hijack software (probably a false positive - but who knows). Once installed, it crashed because of compatibility issues with Vista; it was still unstable after downloading the updates for Vista. So, if you buy this camera, don't touch the software that comes with it. Download Google's Picasa 3 - it's awesome, free, and easy to use.

Overall, and despite my disappointments, this is very good camera. The build quality of the camera is solid; the photo quality is excellent too. Because of this, I can't resist giving this camera 5 stars.

Good price - does what you want

I thought it was well priced. It loads and downloads as fast as any other pen drive I have used.

Product did not perform as I had hoped. Two of the photos would not print out. Would not buy one again

No problems

Been using this picture card in my Fujifilm Z10fd camera for nearly two years now and not had a single problem with it. Have used other makes of picture cards that have corrupted but this one has performed brilliantly so bought a second. Great value for money.

Excellent Camera !

I needed to buy a lower cost camera with some of the features I had seen on my friends cameras. I bought this compact camera which has face recognition and anti-shake and at 12MP it is an excellent purchase. Great battery life and I run it on re-chargeables. The only area to beware is in low light conditions when the pictures become a little grainy. However my wife and I really like it :: it does all the things we wanted for a general family / holiday camera. Thinking now of buying another - well done Fuji - buy one today !!

a brilliant little camera!

so i got this camera because i wanted a waterproof camera (i broke my last one by dropping it in a rock pool). this camera was perfect for me being dust, shock and wind proof. it takes brilliant pictures and has lots of different modes for taking pictures.
i would reconmend this camera to any one.

however the battery doesnt tend to last long, roughly a day.

good picture but not in video

I preordered it 2 months ago and received it last week.
the picture quality is very good as well as video quality BUT the issue is on video mood you can have either digital zoom or optical zoom,in digital zoom mood the video is out of focus and capture everything blury and in optical zoom mood,very impressing quality (better than my sony hdd camcorder) but when you are zoom in or out it will cut the audio recording so the sound keep on and off,specially when you talking during zooming some of your voice not record and just record the very end of lens movement noise(very noisy lens).
some of the good points of the cammera are fast start up,fast zoom.hight picture and video quality,long lasting battery and many more
some of the bad pints are one witch i explained,long way to change betwin photo and video mood.noisy lens.
over all i am happy of my shopping.
at the end i want to appologise or all my writting mistake as i am not english but i tried to do my best.

I bought this after seeing a review
I am glad I did with the 30 times zoom I can take any picture I like
just did my sons wedding Close ups, family groups the lot and all framed with out constant moving about
also got some great close ups of the wild life in the garden can shoot from far enough away without distubing them & on silent mode it makes no sounds (obviously)

Worth waiting for....

I have been looking for a super zoom compact camera for a while now and each time I thought I had found one, I then found some bad reviews which put me off purchasing. I therefore decided to wait and buy this new Fujifilm JZ500, blind, as soon as it was released and take my chances because if I had purchased one with a bad review I would have kicked myself if I suffered the same fate. I was not dissapointed! 14MP with 10x Optical Zoom......what more can I ask for.......

Pros: Very, very compact in size. Large clear screen, lots of easy modes including a 2nd auto that selects the correct mode for you, e.g. landscape, portraint, macro, etc. As you turn the wheel to each mode it comes up on screen to show what each one is for making it very user friendly. Also very easy to adjust light exposure settings, etc if so desired. Takes great pics and videos.

Cons: You need to buy a SDHC card (Class 6) to get the maximum record time on HD video, even so it is only 20 mins on an 8gb card. However the std video mode is good enough to make up for this and the length of recording time is much higher.

Overall this is a great little camera and I am glad I decided to buy this one rather than one of the others on the market.

Silicone jacket

I'm not normally a big fan of any protective covers due to increasing the size of a gadget but as this was going to be used in a rougher environemnt I thought it was worth a shot. It fits as expected and what it gives you due to the releatively unprotected lens and screen the ability to just put it down on tables and floors without worry.
Would recomend and also purchased with the Lowpro AW20 as perfect fit camera without silicone case and a squeeze with it.

Classy Card

Card was ordered for a Panasonic TZ10 to take on holiday. Card was delivered in about two days and performs really well. Class 6 cards are recommended for HD video cameras. I have no complaints. There are cheaper cards out there but I thought I would trust in a known brand as I did not want to experience any lost photos from a holiday that would be impossible to replace. Buy it.

Never buying fujifilm again...

I have had 3 different SD Cards from Fujifilm fail on me. Fortunately I am very cautious about downloading the pictures so managed to not lose anything, although on one occasion I did have to buy some software to salvage some holiday pictures.

These failure have occured in 3 different cameras, so it isn't the camera at fault. I have been using SanDisk as well and have never had an issue with them.

I would recommend purchasing SanDisk over fujifilm, I had considered that maybe I was just unlucky with the first 2 that failed but now that a third has gone I am going to steer clear.

Excellent

This is my first 'proper' digital camera, and I'm not disappointed. My first choice after reading a review in a computer magazine, I spent days trawling the internet looking at digital cameras, reading as many reviews as possible, Which? reports etc, but still came back to the Fuji A170. Superb build quality, nicely weighted in a metal case (no cheap plastic here). The lens is stunning for the price, software download easy peasy, printed images faultless. I chose the blue version, most attractive it is too. The only niggle is the full user guide is only contained on the enclosed cd and runs to 102 pages, you only get very basic instructions on printed matter. All in all a remarkably good buy, especially at Amazon's price.

nice little camera

Bought the finepix ax280 a few weeks ago and I am now on hols writing review.
The camera is nice and small and fairly simple to use ( has a few picture settings that I have not used yet)
It does not 'eat' batteries so have taken 100+ photos with the first set.
14mp is more than enough for ameture/holiday photos and the 5x optical zoom means that no clarity is lost when in use.
I am happy with this camera and hope to use it for years to come.

A great camera at a great price

If all you want is a point and shoot no thought compact this is not for you, However if you are prepared to read the book and try all the functions this is a fantastic camera and will give you the results that are normally associated with cameras 2 or 3 times the price. It will take you a couple of hours to read through and its time well spent, after which it's all down to practice. You don't have to be a camera geek to get excellent results. The camera is well built and robust while being light enough and small enough to carry around easily, the only minus I have found after a year of using mine is it does not come with a lens cover a problem easily over come. I would truly recommend this to any one from first timer up. The instruction book is easy to follow good diagrams and not too much geek speak. I have had numerous cameras over the last 40 years this is certainly the best value. And gives top quality results
